Este o specie de reptil\u0103 care prefer\u0103 habitatele nisipoase de coast\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 la cele de p\u0103\u0219une \u0219i semide\u0219ert. \u00cen de\u0219erturile aride este rar \u00eent\u00e2lnit\u0103.
